ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
LEAH ALRUTZ

Leah Alrutz is thrilled to be teaching in the Ladue School District. Her duties include instructing three middle school ensembles, Musical Theatre classes, Spring Musical Director, and is the director of Viva Voce at Ladue High School. Leah was born and raised in St. Louis and attended Missouri State University in Springfield, MO where she received her Bachelors of Music Education in Vocal Music. She is currently working on her masters at Lindenwood University in Educational Technology. Leah also participates in Varsity Vocals- International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella and International Competition of High School A Cappella as the Midwest Producer. Check out the website Varsityvocals.com for more info! She runs seven competitions throughout the year with collegiate and high school A Cappella groups from all over the Midwest. Leah is a member of the LMS Diversity Cadre, Ladue Ski Club, Sixth Grade Camp, LMS Social Committee, MCDA (Missouri Choral Directors Association), NEA, and LEA (Ladue Educators Association). She also directs Ladue High School's all female a cappella group - Viva Voce! She loves working with the wonderful staff, students, families, and community of Ladue. |
